...Makes me think of the Folksmen, which Eugene was not a part of, but still.
Chattin' could have been a classic Folksmen album, unlike that disaster Saying Something.

haha, I didn't even do that on purpose. thank you for Saying Something!
also, I'd just like to say that hearing Harry Shearer say the phrase "teetering crazily" is one of the greatest things in life.

You know, I think if we could punch a hole in the middle of this thread, we'd have a real good time.
Who's up for a round of "Corn Wine"?

After seeing "Best In Show," my wife, friends, and I decided to rent "Waiting for Guffman" and were in amazed shock--in a laughing hysterically way. We are part of a community theater group in Bland, Missouri, and the self-proclaimed founder and first director is almost EXACTLY like Corky St. Clair! We were trying to figure out which of us was most like which character. Sadly, my wife and I were like the Catherine O'Hara/Fred Willard characters. Everytime we watch that movie we just can't get over the similarities (although our productions aren't anywhere near that good since Bland has less than 500 people--maybe there'd be more if Bland made stools and had alien sightings.)
